Larry Dado, an inspired and versatile
guitarist, has been playing guitar for over 40 years. His father,
who was a professional steel guitar player, introduced him to
the guitar at an early age. Larry practiced tirelessly until
he was good enough to start his first rock & roll band in
the early 60's. Starting in high school and continuing through
college, he played in numerous bands, playing music that ranged
from Motown to Psychedelic. While playing the college circuit,
he shared the stage with several popular bands, including the
60's rock group "Smith" and the "Exiles".
Shortly after college, Larry set off on a 30-year hiatus before
returning to the music scene. For the past three years, he has
concentrated on playing the "blues", including taking
part in the numerous local blues jams. He missed playing in
a band and, as a result, he helped start his current band, "Red
House".

Kim Renouf is a multitalented
singer/musician and plays several instruments including trumpet,
trombone and harmonica. Kim was raised listening to his father's
big band albums that influenced his decision to learn and play
horns. He played trumpet all through school and then went on
a 14-year hiatus. He decided to return to music and began taking
guitar lessons. After his first lesson, his guitar teacher encouraged
him to go to the Dolphin Lounge and listen to some local musicians.
It was there that Kim heard Rick Boals' R&B band that included
a horn section that pierced Kim's heart and set off his love
for the "blues". He immediately quit his guitar lessons
and started playing the trumpet every Monday night at the local
blues jams. A few years later, Kim was asked by Rick Boals to
join his group. During his time with Rick Boals, he opened for
the legendary blues man, B.B. King, at the Newport Music Hall.
Kim feels blessed for having the opportunity to play with many
of Columbus' finest musicians. Three years ago, we almost lost
Kim to a rare infection. He counts his blessing for still being
with us today and would like to say to everyone that he hopes
his current band, "Red House", will radiate the "blues"
in all of your hearts.

Wade Barnett, a rousing singer
and entertaining front man, is a Columbus native that was destined
from an early age to play and sing the "blues". His
parents were both from a small town in Tennessee and were very
influential in shaping his musical taste. During his formative
years, he would sit in church and listen to his parents as they
sang in a gospel group. Wade strongly believes that "blues"
music is based on emotions and these feelings inspire every
song he performs. Wade helped start his current band, "Red
House" and is a huge influence on the band's musical penchant
and direction.
