Larry Dado, an inspired and versatile guitarist, has been playing guitar for over 40 years. His father, who was a professional steel guitar player, introduced him to the guitar at an early age. Larry practiced tirelessly until he was good enough to start his first rock & roll band in the early 60âs. Starting in high school and continuing through college, he played in numerous bands, playing music that ranged from Motown to Psychedelic. While playing the college circuit, he shared the stage with several popular bands, including the 60âs rock group âSmithâ and the âExilesâ. Shortly after college, Larry set off on a 30-year hiatus before returning to the music scene. For the past three years, he has concentrated on playing the âbluesâ, including taking part in the numerous local bluesjams. He missed playing in a band and, as a result, he helped start his current band, âRedHouseâ.
